Electronics Recycling Account Manager, East
Veolia is currently seeking a highly-motivated, creative individual as an Account Manager for our Electronics Recycling Branch. 
Primary responsibilities include selling recycling and disposal services involving electronics, fluorescent and specialty lamps/bulbs, ballasts, batteries, power distribution equipment, mercury waste and medical devices.  Our customers include industrial, distribution and governmental clients in various industries, and other Veolia divisions.
Candidate must have a proven track record in sales with creative and innovative approaches towards increasing sales and generating revenue. As a sales professional, you are consistently informed relative to market trends, industry and regulatory issues. Successfully identifies the technical needs of the customer. Proven sound judgment calls in most situations and problem solving skills to create win-win solutions.  Experience with effective and professional presentations is a must along with excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. This is a highly visible, proactive role that requires a consultative solutions oriented approach with the ability to work collaboratively and creatively with feedback.
Basic qualifications include a Bachelors of Science degree preferred in a related field and 3 years sales experience in industries such as: retail, hospitality, manufacturing, utilities, lighting, electrical, or government.  Candidates must have proficient computer skills in Sugar or other CRM. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of an existing or potential client’s business in determining VES-TS’ capabilities in presenting a range of services and options in disposal methodologies.
• Create effective and professional presentations and appropriate quotations for existing and/or prospective customers in identifying, selling, and developing beneficial relations on a long-term basis.
• Work with other sales orientated professional in researching and developing services, pricing, and quotations on complex customer accounts.
• Determine pricing strategies based on client’s current needs utilizing innovative solutions to retain clients.
• Utilize interpersonal skills to influence management and support staff in communicating achievement of common goals and objectives to promote sales opportunities.
• Develop regional sales criteria while maintaining and/or lowering operational costs through contract negotiations.
• Update M-Power as required; submit monthly meeting logs,  HiLite reports, and other reports as required.
•Develop annual regional sales plan, as required.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Prior sales experience of 1 to 3 years in the hazardous waste industry preferred
