Job Summary:
Primary responsibilities will be the securing new business for Veolia’s new Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) business line. This includes increasing the profitability of existing business in the St. Louis and Eastern Missouri and Chicago markets.  This position will help to develop new product ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. Will work with various Veolia counterparts including Corporate Business Development, Marketing, local Veolia Hazardous and Regulated Waste Account Managers, EH & S and Operations to build and maintain a strong pipeline.
•         High School diploma or GED equivalent required
•         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
•         Prior sales experience of 1 to 3 years in the hazardous waste industry preferred
•         Valid driver’s license
•         OSHA HAZWOPER Certification
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
•         Must have strong prospecting and business development skills to secure business in Veolia’s new RMW business by demonstrating knowledge of our services
•         Result oriented with a sense of urgency
•         Demonstrated proficiency in time management, marketing strategies and strong negotiation skills required
•         Strong prospecting and business development skills
•         Demonstrated leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•         Develop a comprehensive understanding of an existing or potential client’s business in determining Veolia’s capabilities in presenting a range of services and options in disposal methodologies
•         Create effective and professional presentations and appropriate quotations for existing and/or prospective customers in identifying, selling, and developing beneficial relations on a long-term basis
•         Work with other sales orientated professional in researching and developing services, pricing, and quotations on complex customer accounts
•         Determine pricing strategies based on client’s current needs utilizing innovative solutions to retain clients
•         Utilize interpersonal skills to influence management and support staff in communicating achievement of common goals and objectives to promote sales opportunities
•         Train internal and external customers on how to use products, key benefits and positioning statements
•         Analyze potential partner relationships for the product
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•         Update databases, prepare, deliver and present reports as needed
•         Supports other areas of the company as needed
