Job Description

The Administrative Assistant provides support to the Baltimore Compost Facility in day-to-day activities
and responsibilities. In the position you may act as a record keeper, maintaining all personnel and related
employment files, including confidential information in accordance with Region and Corporate policies
and procedures.

As an Administrative Assistant you may:
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager and/or other Division management to include file
and record maintenance, creation of various reports and/or correspondence.
- Write and record Bill of Ladings so as to generate accurate monthly billings for all compost customers.
- Generate electronic purchasing requests and enter purchasing receipts so as to assist with AP activities.
- Greet and direct vendors, customers, and other visitors to the appropriate locations
- Operate a multi-line switchboard, and route calls to the appropriate person or location
- Enroll employees in safety and other training courses and provide them with computer direction in taking
those courses on-line.
- Route incoming mail, schedules appointments, files correspondence and other records, as necessary.
- Maintain accident, safety, driver certification files and workers' compensation records in accordance with
the Region, Corporate and federal regulations.
 

Job Requirements

- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel, Word)
- General knowledge in Google applications
- High school diploma with solid math skills and knowledge
- 4 years of administrative experience
- Valid driver license and safe driving history
-Some accounting or AP/AR experience would be a plus
-Willing and able to work in an industrial office setting
