Job Description

Veolia Water Technologies, Inc. (VWT) is currently seeking an Applications Engineer for our Cary, NC office.  

Summary:

Manages multiple projects throughout the sales cycle. Supports the regional sales team in responses to customer’s requests, develops project solutions, and coordinates the preparation of bid and proposal documents.  Assists with product development, marketing and commercial strategy for specific products.

Job Description:

• Coordinate among various internal departments and sales departments in response to customer requests.
• Prioritize tasks, personally and within internal departments, relating to project needs and required response times.
• Assist in developing project solutions and winning strategies for ongoing projects.
• Manage and/or participate in bid preparation.
• Calculate project pricing, including working with vendors for equipment costs, and confirm equipment meets necessary product and project guidelines.
• Prepare proposals.
• Assist with development and upkeep of standard sales tools, such as specification documents, standard proposals and pricing sheets.

Qualifications

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Engineering or other technical fields)
• Minimum 1-5 years+ of experience
