In addition to performing tasks typically related to a procurement specialist role such as providing customer service with respect to purchasing transactions, the Change Management - Procurement is equally focused on developing, implementing, and managing the “people side of change” of the many initiatives and projects initiated and managed by VNA’s Procurement Team.

While being in charge of developing and editing content for the team, the Change Management - Procurement also supports people in the organization through the transitions from a current state to a future state and understands what is needed to influence each person to embrace and adopt the change.

This position can be hired in Boston, MA, Paramus, NJ, or Milwaukee, WI.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to the Procurement Desk by reviewing purchase requisitions, selecting appropriate vendors, and coordinating with department management and requesters.
  • Performs Procurement program administration, troubleshooting and continuous improvement (e.g. Travel, Corporate Cards, etc.) as needed.
  • Provides timely resolution of stakeholder questions using direct knowledge of the various purchasing programs or by connecting with the appropriate member of the Procurement team to obtain the answer.
  • Contributes to developing and implements change management strategies and plans related to initiatives led by the Procurement Team.
  • Assists with the development of engaging content and distribution across communications channels (newsletter, procurement website, webinars, etc.). related to the procurement activity (new deals, vendors, processes, etc.).
  • Supports the procurement team in developing and delivering training content that will be distributed and presented across the Company.
  • Develops and manages Procurement stakeholder satisfaction surveys and use the results to develop action plans with the help of the Procurement Leadership Team.
  • Supports development of procurement process documentation and training as needed.
  • Actively contributes to driving continuous improvement within the Procurement team.
  • Assists in communicating with external vendors (vendor onboarding, key messages, etc.).

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain or related fields.
  • Demonstrable experience in Change Management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP (Ariba, S4) or any other ERP.
  • Commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and a team player.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or GSuite.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Solid organizational and planning skills.

Physical Requirements:

The job can be performed in a hybrid environment with 2 days / week in the office (Boston, Paramus or Milwaukee).
