Job Description

Annual Pay a minimum of $60,000.00 to a maximum of $70,000.00

Position Purpose: 
The Contract Control Manager’s role is to lead a focused group in the planning, development and launch of efficient business and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. They will be responsible for organizing and reviewing all Branch billing packet information in preparation for submission to the billing group. All supporting documentation for invoicing will be confirmed as accurate and ready to finalize. They will analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. They will be responsible for ensuring quality enhancements to database integrity that leads to a reduction in unbilled revenue and a lower Branch DSO. Leads team that supports the Business Development group by organizing responses to RFQs; including setting up meetings/calls and ensuring the bid team meets all deadlines. They also maintain the HUB database, employee resumes, company referrals, etc., and submit bids electronically via portals like Ariba, SAP, ClearOrbit, etc

Primary Duties/responsibilities:

  • Operations side Invoice Control – Directing a team to Prepare and Review billing packets/documents; sign off on final and deliver to accounting coordinators for billing
  •  Assigning tasks to include running Profitability Measurements for Recycle/Disposal, Transportation, Labor and Supplies
  • Leading their team to provide continued maintenance of existing Branch Price Books and creation of new ones.
  • Prepare system documentation. Guide team in the development and maintenance of standard procedures, training and best practices for system use.
  • Monitor and Review intra-company and 3rd party billing and present to Branch leadership.
  • Utilize their team to produce ad hoc reports for analysis of system usage, business management etc.
  • Balancing workload of their team that provides internal support for users of application systems unique to ESS. (i.e. RPM, QTC System, TS@Work, CIMS)
  • Oversee the maintenance of the contract portion of bid documents (i.e. Resumes, COI, HUB Documentation). Organize Branch response to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background: 

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work experience preferred
  • 10 Years of experience in related field preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: 

  • Strong familiarity with standard Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a results driven environment
