Job Summary: 
The Project Engineer is responsible for  supporting the assigned project to the satisfaction of the company's success criteria in terms of: Safety, Environment, Quality, Cost and Schedule objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To assist the Project Director and the Owner’s Engineer in the management of all phases of Early Engineering phase and through the EPC Execute phase of the Project.
  • To act as focal point of contact with the EPC contractor’s point of contact.
  • Liaise with company internal design teams.
  • Preparation of internal and external progress reports.
  • To manage specific areas of the project to the requirements of the contract, quality, schedule and cost constraints as allocated by the Project Director and or the Owner’s Engineer
  • To chair and minute progress review meetings with EPC contractor and their suppliers as appropriate.
  • To report regularly on progress issues, potential problems and potential solutions to any such problems.
  • Drive Micro Critical Path progress issues identified and tasked to bring to a solution.
  • To establish and maintain a good working relationship with the EPC contractor, suppliers and project team members.
  • To visit / meet EPC contractor, Suppliers and Site as necessary
  • Mobilize to Site during the Construction execute phase. 
  • To direct, supervise and motivate members of the project team in achievement of the project objectives.
  • To ensure that the project works are executed safely, with quality, schedule and cost objectives achieved to the mutual satisfaction of the company.


Job Requirements

Education/Experience:
  • BS in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline required.  
  • 10 to 15 years in the hazardous waste industry or related work experience preferred.  
  • Previous project management/engineering experience in delivery of equipment and/or process plant modules for the Thermal/Incineration industry.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • “Can do”/”make it happen” approach such that tight timescales can be met.
  • Good communicator
  • General IT familiarity and competence in use of Google G suites & MS Office Applications
  • Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Arkansas is a plus.
