Position Purpose: 

Within the North America Municipal Water Business Unit, you will join our Contract Operations Division. In a collaborative and dynamic team setting, you will drive forward our growth initiatives to increase our market share across the US. Your key responsibilities will include gathering market intelligence, identifying new trends / opportunities for growth, performing robust data analysis and working hand-in-hand with the Business Development team to develop winning sales strategies.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Regional VP of Business Development, you will be responsible for:

  • Collecting and analyzing market data and intelligence about prospects and existing clients.
  • Assisting business leaders in project development, pricing and proposals.
  • Performing analysis on operational and financial datasets.
  • Participating in professional events relevant to the municipal water business.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients’ organizations.
  • Promoting collaboration and teamwork across business lines and geographies.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

  • 5 years of related experience, ideally in the water/wastewater sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental, business, or related degree. Advanced degree is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills.
  • Collaborative and creative team player.
  • Strong organization, project management, time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to contribute efficiently to problem solving sessions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to interact with many people and process a large volume of requests as necessary.
  • Networking and team building skills.
  • Previous business development experience including preparation of proposals, scopes of work and costs estimates for clients is a plus.
  • Proficient with Google suite.
  • Mobility and ability to travel frequently.
