Veolia Water Technologies Dayton is currently seeking a Customer Service/Purchasing Representative in the Vandalia, OH area.

This position will be responsible for performing complex functions to ensure workflow throughout the Mobile Water Services, Aquadem Product Line.  Single point of contact for the coordination of Aquadem and Mobile Water Services Purchase Order Requests.  Research and troubleshoot billing issues. Backup role for TEAM Service and Extended Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Single point of contact for all purchasing involved with the Aquadem Department and out of contract purchasing for Mobile Water Services.
  • Receives, sorts, files and retrieves forms, correspondence and documents. 
  • Issues service orders for Aquadem and Mobile Water Services in a timely manner.  Ensure all contract and non-contract invoicing is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates and processes all work orders and purchasing actives needed for Mobile Water Service and Aquadem.
  • Approve and code all freight bills that pertain to Mobile Water Services and Aquadem.
  • Research and obtain quotations on service parts as needed.
  • Maintain Customer Pricing Database.
  • Maintain internal order forms with current pricing.
  • Provide updated Purchase Order information to accounting as needed.
  • Help troubleshoot any Mobility Tool issues with the field and Corporate IT.
  • Review technicians completed Field Service Reports and follow up if necessary.
  • Maintain all Preventative Maintenance orders in LATIS.
  • Communicate directly with customers to ensure all necessary paperwork is received as needed.
  • Back up to Installed Base Creation/Modifications as needed.
  • Request Part Numbers as needed.
  • Communicates purchasing information with department manager and Aquadem Technicians.
  • Responsible for any credit memo’s needed on Service Orders.
  • Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues with purchased items. 
  • Process invoices for Veolia vendors.
  • Monitor Open Order Report Monthly.
  • Monitor order status and provide updates to department managers.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelors degree preferred
  • Must be proficient in MS Office
  • Experience with the Google Suite preferred
  • Experience working with an ERP system required
  • 1 – 3 years of related work experience
