About us:
The Veolia Fremont Field Services Center is located in Northern California in a mixed industrial/commercial setting.It operates as a 10-day Waste Transportation Facility with an office servicing customers south of the Oregon border through Monterey County, east to Inyo County, and Northern Nevada. Veolia Fremont maintains a fleet of commercial vehicles in addition to highly
trained and qualified project managers, field technicians, and drivers to meet
and exceed customer’s expectations. Veolia offers the following services:
transportation and disposal of hazardous/industrial waste, on site waste
management programs, lab packaging of chemical inventories, waste bulking services, on-site High-Hazard assessment and treatment, household hazardous waste events, and environmental/safety consulting.

Job Summary:

The candidate would be responsible for non-supervisory tasks related to
customer service. The primary focus of this position is to act as the single
point of contact on a day-to-day basis for internal and external customers
within a specified territory. All tasks to be performed will be according to the
established company standard and in compliance with all company policies
and procedures while maintaining regular and prompt attendance.


  • Creating and maintaining waste profiles with respect to customer preference, disposal technology, cost, and facility approval.
  • Assist in developing preliminary proposals and sales quotations.
  • Identifying and tracking transportation, lab analysis and vendor costs by purchase orders to insure accuracy of billing invoices.
  • Reviewing invoices for accuracy.
  • Answering customer inquiries and suggesting solutions in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 (two) years of hazardous waste experience required.
  • Bachelor of science degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or related science discipline preferred.
  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
  • A valid driver’s license required
  • Proficient in Google Suites, and other company software programs.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to multi-task and be self-sufficient.
  • Knowledge of industry disposal capabilities as well as limitations
  • Prior work experience in the hazardous waste related industry required
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred
