POSITION PURPOSE:
At the direction of the Domain Lead, the DB&T Partner, Director will partner with business executive stakeholders to lead business process mapping and improvement projects that increase business efficiency, streamline processes and reduce complexity in the organization's application portfolio.
Advise Digital Solutions, prioritize improvements and demands with the business. Identify resources and efforts to implement projects and solutions once approved by business stakeholders and management. Requires strong analytical skills, business analysis skills, excellent business process documentation, and customer service skills. Be a leader that supports, manages, and accompanies the business in their change. Vendor management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve goals.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build customer relationships & intimacy
- Build and leverage relationships with management, key business stakeholders, and external organizations. Offer Innovative Awareness, Review demand, projects, tasks, and deliverables frequently, and change priorities or scope in coordination with ever-changing customer needs.
- Demonstrate strong customer-oriented mindset.
- Enhance or improve the customer experience on a continuous basis. Provide excellent customer service.
- Create and present business cases, plus identify business needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Focus business development efforts on support of BUs commercial proposals.
Support business strategy
- Identify tools and business process improvement areas in the business and influence stakeholders' buy-in to change and/or adapt as necessary.
- Provide one solution for each demand / project from the business in a proactive and solution-oriented way.
- Blueprint functional and technical change documentation and work as the liaison between the business and outsourced service providers to deliver the services and changes to the applications as necessary.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to implement major projects aligned with business goals.
- Demonstrate ability to make decisions in an informed, confident and timely manner.
- Experience overseeing the transformational roadmap from inception to completion.
- Support business regulatory changes.
- Provide senior leadership with regular project status & reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate through expertise.
Team Management
- Lead and manage team members with positive & proactive energy.
- Monitor workload and provide directions to team members.
Support Run functions
- Demonstrate ability/willingness to work with Global peers to share best practices to further the VNA business.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through clear, concise, and professional presentations and communications.
- Prepare presentations for Committees with Domain CIO and Domain Sr Executives - COO & VP's.
- Understand the catalog of applications & services used within BU - as well as Service Levels Agreements.
- Develop business technology strategies to ensure standardized processes and tools as much as possible.
Qualifications
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or a related field, MBA or advance degrees preferred
- Typically requires 8-10 or more years of internal/external IT experience.
- Experience successfully leading large, complex projects and/or in business/IT consulting/management roles.
- Requires negotiation skills and experience/in-depth knowledge of the business, business requirements analysis and IT processes.
- Exposure to senior executives and C-Levels.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS /ABILITIES:
- Proven management skills.
- Communicator with social / field approach.
- Relationship manager.
- Business centric.
- Commercial support (tender offer, RFP, RFQ).
- Needs qualifier - opportunities builder.
- Technology versed.
- Driven - High Energy.
- Document Functional specifications, ie. business blueprinting.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSES / TRAINING:
- Business Relationship Management (BRM) certification is a plus.
- Agile PM, Agile Scrum, Agile Product Manager (+).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Hybrid office policy.
- Up to 30-40% travels on-sites.
