What we do:
Veolia West Bridgewater, MA features the latest state-of-the-art recycling of fluorescent lamps, ballast, batteries, computer electronics and mercury-bearing waste. The 55,000 square foot West Bridgewater facility is a MADEP permitted Class C recycling facility for mercury recovery activities and a USEPA permitted TSCA/ballast storer and processor. The facility serves industrial, commercial and government organizations across West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and the New England States.

Job Summary 
The Electronics Supervisor reports to the Facility Supervisor and oversees the processing all electronics material received, stored, processed and shipped offsite for further processing. The electronics supervisor plans, organizes, and schedules for dismantling, processing and shipment offsite for all materials received. Supervisor categorizes and distributes all electronic items for management. The objective is to maximize recovery of the electronic equipment and the byproducts associated with the dismantling of electronics. The lead/supervisor oversees the evaluation and sorted of all electronics received for processing, to gain maximum value while, ensuring a smooth and safe efficient operation.

  •          Ensure work area is in compliance of facility Operating Procedures and all State/Federal rules and regulations. 
  •          Ensure the effective, safe handling and storage of all material to and from storage. 
  •          Efficiently distributes workload to electronics recycling personnel for processing.
  •          Supervise electronics recycling personnel.
  •          Operate material handling equipment safely, and reliably. 
  • •         Maintain an organized electronic recycling operation in an safe effective and efficient manner. 
  •         Oversee the daily routines of their assigned crew members. Monitor the electronics scrap inventory.
  •          Ensure materials are staged for counting and inspection.
  •          Monitor the flow of inventory ensuring adequate floor space management. 
  •          Oversees supplies inventory. 
  •          Report and communicate any safety issues.
  •          Utilize personal protective equipment.
  •          Complete required daily inspection report and logbook to record work performed.
  •          Other responsibilities as facility supervisor/manager sees fit.

Job Requirements

- High school diploma/GED
- 3+ years of maintenance experience
