Job Description
Pay Rate: $80,000 - $100,000

Position Purpose:
Under direction of the Production Manager, the Facility Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance and appearance for all facilities, including HVAC, security system, landscape management, painting, lighting structures and maintenance, overall plant esthetics. Responsible for managing and negotiation with contractor services. This position will be responsible for the presence and condition of the Edward C. Little Water Recycling (ECLWRF) and satellite facilities infrastructure. Compose, manage and communicate rules and guidelines for all UWES staff regarding facility maintenance, with the support from management staff. This role will require maintenance training, documenting, and reporting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, unpleasant odors, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, including occasional wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be exposed to odors, silica, dust, fumes, smoke, gases, greases, oils, electrical energy, solvents, and vibrations. The employee may work on slippery/uneven surfaces, around machinery with moving parts, moving objects/vehicles, and ladder/scaffolding, below ground and may be exposed to water and other liquid materials.
The employee will be expected to follow the H&S Manual guidelines and wear the appropriate PPE as necessary to perform the position.
