PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct daily Heavy Equipment checks and cleaning. Record all abnormalities on the inspection sheet and review with the Shift Supervisor.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment(Dozer, Front-End Loader, Skid Steer,Lull) within the Operations manual guidelines.
  • Performs light maintenance activities and operation requirements of the Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Maintain Heavy Equipment in an organized and clean manner
  • Manage fuel pile as directed by the Operations Manager, Shift Supervisor and/or Control Room Operator.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and acceptable manner.
  • Demonstrate a high performance, high discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative and achievement-oriented, easy to do business with manner of working.
  • Ensures that assigned tools, equipment and work area are properly maintained and secured.
  • Assists Mechanical Maintenance, I&C and Operations as required.
  • Shall use Three-Way radio communication to ensure clear radio communications
  • Complete any other task as directed by the Supervisor, Control Room Operator and Operations Manager.
