Position Purpose:
In this role, the Human Resources Operations Manager will manage and direct the work of a team responsible for the operational delivery across a broad range of critical employee life-cycle experiences. The ideal candidate is an expert in streamlining and automating work, leveraging digital tools to improve the employee experience, and providing exceptional service delivery and process execution.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee end to end HR Operational responsibilities with aim to continuously improve HR partner and employee satisfaction, process efficiency, streamlined operations, and strong compliance. Establish and identify opportunities for improvement of HR policies and processes across the full employee lifecycle.
- As the subject matter expert, oversee benefits administration including support of all health & welfare and retirement programs, leave programs, open enrollment process, employee inquiries and problem resolution, vendor invoicing, billing and plan funding. Partner with vendors on escalated issues from employees and HR in the field.
- Partner with and participate in projects with HR/Legal team to ensure all policies and plans comply with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Partner with COEs (Learning & Development, DE&I, Total Rewards, Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition) to stay current on related policies and procedures as they pertain to all employees and to ensure information sharing, news and processes are communicated to the department.
- Partner with key stakeholders including HR Field Leadership and Business Leaders to understand service delivery expectations and ensure services meet or exceed expectations.
- Act as the primary escalation point to help solve both day-to-day and more complex operational problems, as well as the primary point person for partnering on projects, initiatives and process design with departments across the company.
- Lead a culture of data accuracy and integrity by creating and implementing data maintenance processes and audits. Develop and sustain appropriate controls for information, files, data, etc.
- Oversee the process and execution of I-9 process to ensure compliance and manage external vendor.
- Work closely with the HRIS team to identify opportunities to leverage systems to fullest potential, automate People Operations tasks, tackle process inefficiencies and inconsistencies, and improve people processes to elevate the overall employee experience and productivity of HR.
- Develop, coach, train and mentor a high-performance team in order to support transactions and key strategic activities.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR Operations/Shared Services experience.
- 5+ years of benefits administration and compliance experience.
- 5+ years experience with HR applications and data flow.
- Strong knowledge/experience in HR strategies, operations, policies, procedures, and compliance.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to effectively plan, set priorities, and manage several complex projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated success in balancing the need for efficiency and scale with client satisfaction and a sense of high touch for all employees.
