We have a great opportunity for a Project Manager with wastewater design, build, operations and engineering experience to lead Veolia’s growth in our North America environmental services team, reporting out of our Miamisburg, OH location.
As a Project Manager, you work with our local and corporate technical and project teams to lead the construction of an industrial wastewater plant in North America. Responsibilities include issuing of project RFP’s, evaluating and selecting contractors, confirming equipment designs, leading and working in the field with the selected contractors, communicating with our local regulatory agencies and execution of the project timeline. Leading and ensuring all work is completed in adherence with the company, local and federal safety and environmental requirements. 
Additional responsibilities include:
- Develops and implements techniques to ensure project efficiency.  
- Works alongside EHS to prepare reports as needed. 
- Works with the management team to correct operational or project-related issues. 
- Ensure a safe work environment.
-  Oversees the purchase of tools, materials, equipment, and services.
- Responsible for all personnel issues including but not limited to hiring, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating employees and contractors.  
- Assist in budget preparations.

Job Requirements

Experience/Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering  or equivalent work experience required.
7 years of hazardous waste experience required; wastewater treatment design, build and construction experience preferred.
1 to 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Skills: 
- Ability to read construction documents and Engineering drawings. 
- Understanding of local and state permits and construction codes.
- Troubleshooting and time management skills.
- Knowledge of local and federal wastewater/water regulations.
- Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the operations, maintenance, and inspection of a treatment facility. 
- Ability to maintain and manage a project budget. 
- Ability to effectively deal with people on various levels from management to hourly employees. 
- Ability to analyze and interpret laboratory tests relating to water treatment/wastewater. 
- Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and drawings.
- Ability to use Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and other computer bases systems to run reports and operate the equipment. 
- Attention to detail and good document management skills.
