Remediation Specialist
Veolia is continuing to grow and is looking for motivated, growth oriented individuals to join our team for light remediation related to waste removal and disposal for our customers in the Mid-Atlantic Branch.  These positions will be based in Philadelphia to service the Philadelphia, Central PA, Maryland, southern New Jersey and Delaware service areas.

Position Description

This position is responsible for the performance of light remedial activates for our branch customers in the Mid-Atlantic Region. A successful candidate will be able to provide value-added services by understanding the customer’s needs, recognizing and acting on opportunities, and optimizing solutions.  Must have 1- 2 years recent remediation experience with a hazardous waste company.
 
This position completes specialized remediation disposal projects for our customers.  Responsibilities include remedial activities, sampling material, manifesting, packaging, labeling, loading & coordinating transportation, and providing solutions for customers while adhering to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.   Please note that this is NOT a bench or laboratory chemist position.  We are looking for candidates who have a background in the sciences and enjoy working on a variety of projects, in the field, and under various types of weather and working conditions.  Overtime and occasional overnight travel required. 
 
 
Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required. Associates or Bachelors Degree in science preferred but not required.  Prior work experience of 1-2+ years in a related position required.  Equipment operating experience and current Class B CDL with tanker endorsement preferred.
