Lead a team of SourceOne employees, SourceOne subcontractors, and delegated client vendors to accomplish mission-critical projects for clients’ national infrastructure projects, namely Data Centers, Financial Institutions, and Power Plants across Canada and the US. Develop procedures, methods, and testing scripts for clients, and projects, internally and externally for complex power, hydraulic and cooling systems for Data Centers, Financial Institutions, and Power plants. Lead client meetings, schedules, issue resolutions, conflict resolution, and deficiency resolutions for projects. Execute retro-commissioning
engineering/energy studies for national clients. Craft proposals for client RFPs and project pricing requests. Assist with Veolia/SourceOne departmental budgets, KPIs, and financial planning for responsible Canadian and US regions. Collate all documentation of contractors, sub-contractors, client representatives, 3rd party vendors and check for correctness and accuracy. Accountable for the work of Direct Reports working on client projects. Approve administrative tasks for direct reports such as timecards, overtime, travel expenses, and travel authorizations.

Qualifications

Position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Engineering (any) and 2 years of related experience is required. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Engineering (any) and 5 years of progressively responsible post-bachelor’s degree experience in a related field.. The position also requires demonstrated experience with: Diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems; Managing design, energy services and commissioning projects and project resources to a pre-determined scope, fee and schedule; Building codes and construction industry standards, such as ASHRAE and LEED; Contributing to design and energy projects for industrial, institutional and commercial clients; Performing construction observations, reviewing contract documents, developing functional test plans and executing tests for a wide variety of mechanical, and controls systems; and Working on assessment, optimization or commissioning activities for utility plants. 100% telecommuting role. Reports to Veolia’s headquarters at 53 State Street, Flr 14, Boston, MA 02109. May work remotely or telecommute.
