Senior Salesforce Developer Job Description - IS&T
The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for design and development of web solutions from needs analysis to deployment and post-production support. This role determines and identifies high-level functional and technical requirements on the basis of interactions with the user community, knowledge of application architecture, and knowledge of Veolia’s 4 Digital Pillars: digital employees, digital customers, digital offerings, and digital operations. The Senior Salesforce Developer will interact with the IS&T PMO to plan project schedules and will work closely with the assigned Project Managers to ensure that project status is reported accurately and in a timely manner. 

Support existing functionality and address end user support needs
Develop custom Apex and Visualforce Classes and Triggers to ensure functionality aligned with business needs.
Develop Lightning components and be familiar with event-driven architecture and frameworks
Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development
Architect, customize and configure new implementations
Work with project teams as a primary developer, with other internal developers or the business side to gather requirements and translate into system functionality

Job Requirements

2 years of Salesforce Apex, Visualforce and Lightning experience
Experience managing multiple class and triggers in a complex salesforce instance is required
Experience in developing and architecting Lightning Components
Proficiency in HTML, XML, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java or C , SOAP-based web services, JSON
Knowledge of Source Control Environments such as git, svn, etc
Experience with integration on an enterprise level
Experience building complex, scalable, and high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Certified Platform Developer 1 is desired, Platform Developer 2 will set you apart. 
Experience with CPQ is a plus
Strong communication and problem solving skills
