JOB SUMMARY
Under the responsibility of the Technical Service Director, the candidate will be responsible for sale and promotion of services and aftermarket activities (Digital services contracts, process audits, spares and consumables) in the municipal and industrial sectors for our technology and equipment installed base across Eastern Canada. The selected individual will work closely with the various stakeholders (municipalities, industries, contractors, consulting engineers, etc...) with a specific emphasis on aftermarket parts, consumables, on site Services and our Digital Solution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Responsible for promoting all Veolia Water Technologies Inc. aftermarket and services solutions in
the municipal and industrial market in Eastern Canada;
  • Participate in all business development activities (Site visits, industry trade shows, etc.);
  • Manages all aftermarket sales and support activities within its territory;
  • Align his market coverage priorities with the company strategies as identified by the management;
  • Actively follows-up on opportunities in his markets and updates his CRM (SalesForce) accordingly;
  • Works in collaboration with the other commercial departments of the company on identifying and developing common opportunities;
  • Analyzes and actively communicates information about its market (competition, qualitative and quantitative market analysis);
  • Can technically support or assist clients in emergencies or troubleshooting.

Profil Requi

REQUIREMENTS AND AREAS OF EXPERTISE
  • Must have sales proven track records (prospection, managing accounts, building relationship with clients, etc.) and ideally experience on promoting Service contracts or digital tools;
  • Must have exemplary communication skills (oral and written);
  • Bilingualism is a requirement;
  • Must be able to establish relationships easily with a very strong listening ability;
  • Ability to develop and present technical reports, proposals, presentations;
  • Must be organized, problem solver and self-directed;
  • Must be very adaptable, creative and have an analytical mind;
  • Must have a water treatment technical background.

KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION
  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree related to the job requirements;
  • A minimum of five year experience in water treatment sales;
  • Ideally a certified water treatment operator; 
  • Knowledge of water treatment processes;
  • Computer skills Office, Google Suite;
  • Knowledge of CRM software (preferably SalesForce).

  • Must have a valid driver’s license;

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Will be required to travel for business purposes for a minimum of 50% of time his across Eastern Canada;
  • Must be available to attend trade or other sales function during the weekend when required;
  • Must be able to work under pressure to achieve the expected results in a timely manner. Job conditions are based on an expectation of sales results.
