Veolia North America (VNA) is recruiting a Administrative Representative for the Winnipeg Sewage Treatment Program (WSTP). We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic professional to join our team in Winnipeg, Canada.

The WSTP is a long-term strategic partnership between Veolia and the City of Winnipeg for capital project delivery and operation and maintenance of the City’s three wastewater treatment plants. The first part of the program focuses on development and delivery of over $1B of upgrades to sewage treatment plants.

Responsibilities

The role will be part of a site based contract administration team to provide administrative support through construction and commissioning of the WSTP Facilities as well as supporting various other program initiatives.  This role will:

  • Organize and maintain project files and documents; manage electronic document database and file sharing site
  • Maintain project document controls and procedures
  • Management of tracking logs (CCN, RFI, CCO, etc)
  • Liaises with subcontractors and stakeholders regarding contract and change notices, RFIs, RFQ, etc.
  • Arrange and participate in project team / construction meetings, on-site / off-site meetings that include representatives of the contractor(s) and the city
  • Prepare and distribute accurate meeting minutes in a timely manner
  • Assists Veolia Contract Administrators and City Project Managers with overall project performance reporting, including cost, schedule, quality, and project status
  • Assist Contract Administrator with managing the change order process
  • Assist with the management of the claims process
  • Assists in overall coordination and planning as required


Job Requirements

Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a construction project support role
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office including MS Project; experience with Aconex is a plus
