Job Description

In the field of solid waste management, you will be responsible for checking, maintaining and repairing the mechanical, electrical and electronic parts and systems in production installations or transportation equipment.
 
Working under the maintenance manager, you will perform the following tasks:
Technical:
-maintain, commission, parameter and repair electonmechanical and electrotechnical parts of regulating and remotely managed measuring equipment (remote meter readers)
-contribute to upgrading of installations (electrical, automated systems and regulation)
-identify mechanical or electrical malfunctions in the system or sub-assemblies
-carry out tests, measurements and adjustments prior to powering-up tests
 
Safety:
-comply with the health and safety instructions for each intervention
-wear the personal protective equipment specific to the operations to be carried out
 
Management:
-complete and sign the technical intervention records used to build up the maintenance file
-enter data in the CMMS (computer-aided maintenance management system).

Job Requirements

You have a vocational training qualification in electrotechnical and electromechanical techniques and electrical intallations and equipment, or a secondary education diploma in electrical equipment and installation, maintenance of automated mechanical systems or maintenance of industrial equipment, or a two-year higher education diploma in electrotechnical techniques and are certified to work on electrical installations (high/low voltage), have a site machinery driver license (wheeled loader) and are certified to work with lifting platforms.
 
You have a capacity for analysis and synthesis, a liking for detail and accuracy and can work independently (organization of work, planning). You also demonstrate adaptability and initiative. You have the capacity to communicate and share information, team spirit and have a careful approach to your work.
