Veolia ES Technical Solutions Electronics Recycling Division (ERD) is a nation wide provider of electronics recycling services. Electronics Disassembly Technicians participate in sorting and disassembly of electronic equipment in to their base components. Operation of basic hand tools and material handling equipment (pallet jack, dolly forklift) is required in daily activities.

This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently dismounting small electronics from various small parts and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains a safe and compliant work environment at all times.  Works safely and wears appropriate PPE for task.
  • Complies with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. 
  • Loads and unloads various materials such as pallets, totes, drums, etc.
  • Constructs packaging/boxes/containers and prepares for shipment.  
  • Uses a variety of hand tools such as impact wrenches, drum carts, and saws.
  • Moves material within the facility using appropriate equipment such as hand trucks, pallet trucks, forklifts, etc.
  • Dismantles/sorts materials for recycling/disposal.
  • Operates and performs routine inspections on recycling equipment.
  •      Prepares by-product materials for shipment.
  • Assists in completing paperwork for processing/transportation of materials.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties and maintains a clean, organized and safe work area.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of VES-TS standard operating procedures, policies, and regulations
  • Skilled in the use of electronic equipment including barcoding scanners
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
  • Ability to work well in team environment

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
