Business Support Analyst
Minneapolis,MN
$70-80k 10% bonus

Responsibilities:

The Business Support Analyst (BSA) is responsible to manage day-to-day Administrative matters in collaboration with the District Manager, assisting in planning, retaining and directing operational initiatives, policies and protocols. In addition, the BSA will assist in budget, forecast and long term plan preparation and management.

Main responsibilities:
Generates monthly financial reports and reimbursable invoice for our customer

Works directly with our internal partners to obtain data
Identifies important business needs and assists with achieving objectives by effectively communicating to internal partners. Alerting functional areas and escalating problems as needed
Helps to initiate system and platform changes and testing to ensure that the system is meeting requirements
Evaluates and establishes efficient and effective work processes

Reporting
• Provides and analyzes financial reports and provides data to management and other internal partners.
• Assists in producing presentations, reports, ongoing analysis as required.
• Assists in the budget, forecast and long term plan process

Other
• Crisis management support
• Support of field staff related to purchasing system, AP issues and other select systems Vendor set up, document matching, Procurement at local levels
• Assist field staff with ADP or credit card issues
• Coordinating the mailing of proposals

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations or a related field.
• Experience with managing business P&L including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective business and operational plans which are financially sound.
• Must be proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
• Demonstrated commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations and adherence to Veolia Values and the company’s Code of Business Conduct and other company policies and procedures.
• Five (5) years and more of progressive operational, accounting or finance, and/or management experience in operations with a proven track record and demonstrated aptitude with large complex service provider organization. Experience in an administrative capacity for a project, program or department is also beneficial.
• Energy and water projects experience is preferable.
• Leadership and operational management skills.
• Experience of and ability to manage complex operational situations and coordinating staff from all levels within the organization across a range of professional and organizational boundaries.
• Demonstrable track record of achievement of performance management improvement and delivery at a senior management level.
• Significant experience of budget and staff management.
• Demonstrate effective project planning and organizational skills and effective use of time and resources to accomplish work and ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal, verbal, persuasion, presentation, and relationship/team building skills in order to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external contacts.
• Must be capable of managing conflicting priorities and to demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision or guidance.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate, timely, effective, complete and easily understood written communications, reports and presentations at senior management level.
• Strong managerial skills; ability to plan, organize and monitor work and activities of self and direct reports.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment verification (i.e., drug & criminal background check)
