Responsible for implementation and coordination of the organization's human resource strategies within a multi-state region. Aligns human resource objectives with employees and management at the subsidiary level. Serves as a consultant and coach to management on human resources related issues.

• Fosters a work environment that is consistent with the vision, mission, and values of the organization
• Serves as an advisor and coach to regional leadership team on organizational and leadership matters
• Recommends new approaches/ policies/processes/systems that drive organizational performance
• Provides strategy updates during meetings (monthly business reviews, department meetings, etc.)
• Assist VP of Administration in developing HR programs and participate as needed
• Participate in workforce planning to understand needs and determine appropriate action.
• Work within the Taleo system for recruiting, selection, pre-employment screening, and hiring of candidates
• Participates in the interviewing process on an as needed basis to teach supervisors/managers the proper interviewing techniques.
• Develops and extends offers of employment
• Actively participates in high level searches (screening, interviews, selection, etc.)
• Oversee training program
• Manages job description database and coordinates their completion/revision.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors/managers.
• Assists supervisors/managers in determining appropriate corrective action/discipline. Approves all disciplinary action %22written warning%22 and higher.
• Assists supervisors/managers and employees in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
• Oversees annual performance review process for effectiveness and compliance.
• Assists supervisors/managers in performance review meetings as requested.
• Serves as a resource for employees on personal issues that may affect their work.


Job Requirements

Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required
• 10 years related work experience, 3 years strategic experience in a multi-branch/region capacity preferred
• Professional certification in human resources required (PHR, SPHR, GPHR, CEBS, etc.)
• Achieve Global or similar management/leadership training certification preferred
