Our Gulf Coast branch provides services for our customers located in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas. Within the Gulf Coast branch, Veolia operates a hazardous waste incinerator in Port Arthur, TX, a service center in Baytown, TX and a service center in College Park, GA. The Gulf Coast branch offers the following services: Lab Chemical Services, On-Site Services, Transportation, Household Hazardous Waste, Reactive Chemicals, Remediation, Training Services, Specialty Services, Drum Management, Incineration, Fuels Blending, Recycling and Radioactive Waste Management.

Lead Mix Operator
Responsibilities include waste tracking record keeping, minor maintenance, guiding other operators in off-loading trucks, dumpsters, containers, capacitor shipments, and other materials for shredding.  Duties are performed in accordance with a detailed knowledge of the Standard Division Practices, Health/Safety regulations, permit rules, and other company requirements.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma and/or G.E.D. equivalent.  
  • No unsatisfactory work performance issues.
  • Currently holding or previously held a position which by definition of task and/or area required person to be trained to level of hazardous waste operator. 
  • Minimum one year process operations.  
  • Minimum six months heavy equipment
  • operations. 
  • Must be able to perform the job requirements and pass
  • a verbal and/or written skill/proficiency test for the position within a reasonable orientation/training period set by Supervisor, not to exceed 90 days.    
  • Must be able to pass a respirator fit test.
