Job Description

ELGA LabWater, a division of Veolia Water Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Logistics Manager to ensure all activities and processes in relation to logistics, procurement, MRP, forecasting, Health and Safety and overall operations comply with the correct procedures and are administered to a high standard and to ensure that all logistics operations operate to ensure customers are provided with documentation and information to the highest standard.
 
This role exists to provide fast and efficient administrative support and maintain the highest level of customer service, ensuring compliance of company policies and procedures and ensure all ELGA NA activities meet with local CBP, EPA regulatory requirements..

Duties and Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • MRP/Forecasting (LATIS) – Running MRP, checking of MRP messages, forecasting and LLC stock

  • Item Branch Maintenance (LATIS) - Regular maintenance i.e. Costs, lead times, obsolescence, Mod note implementation

  • Logistics Reports - Run and review logistics reports weekly

  • Supplier analysis and updating of LATIS - Reviewing of supplier information on LATIS is it correct i.e. Prices, delivery, UOM, updating branch plant where appropriate

  • Container bookings - Maintaining and updating Google Drive container spread sheet

  • PO Maintenance - Develop a process for expediting/deferring PO's and ensuring correct receipt process

  • New Product - Develop a process to ensure a smooth transition to new product availability and supply of spare parts

  • Warranty - Mechanism for ensuring warranty replacements are documented and parts are receipted & transacted in an appropriate manner

  • Create and distribute non-inventory/service/advertising purchase orders to suppliers.

  • Work with customer service, field sales, and service on special order requests.


  • Work with suppliers to improve lead times.

  • Process and confirm Evoqua purchase orders, Create commercial invoices, receive and bill Evoqua sales orders.

  • Create and distribute Notice of Arrival forms to customs brokers for incoming shipments, develop processes and procedures to ensure compliance with CBP and EPA regulations

  • Process ship confirmations, packing lists, and update freight lines for sales orders.

  • Work with FedEx/UPS portals and freight carriers to prepare paperwork and schedule shipments.

  • Update tracking information within distributor portals.

  • Communicate solutions, successes, and opportunities to the Logistics Manager.

  • Position would be responsible for managing all Health & Safety issues in the Office

  • Be a liaison between HR and IT for VWNA and for the ELGA members

  • Provide additional backup support to CS/Finance/Woodridge office


  • Provide Special Projects for the General Manager

Job Requirements

Requirements for the position:
Minimum High school diploma or GED, Bachelor preferred in Business.
Experience working in a logistics, customer service environment is essential
 

  • The ability to work in a team environment. A friendly and cooperative/positive attitude is required.
  • Must have good attention to detail and understanding of regulatory processes and procedures
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, primarily with Microsoft Office Suite, LATIS and Salesforce
  • Prominent organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to meet dead lines
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
  • Must be honest, dependable, assertive and systematic.
  • Focused on achieving goals, with a good understanding of financial principles and procedures
