Job Description

Job Summary:
Work collaboratively with team to create and provide schedules and plans to ensure timely maintenance, and inventory to provide safe and continuous operations.  The job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Convert Operator Notifications into Work Orders for release by Maintenance Manager
    • Priority
    • Duration
    • Tools / equipment / materials
    • Resources
    • JHA’s/Permits as required     
    • Detailed work plan
    • Complete WO specific purchase requisitions
    • Subcontract requirements
    • Equipment rentals

  • Create a detailed preventive maintenance schedule for each tracked task in SAP
    • Frequency
    • Schedule
    • Duration
    • Parts required
    • Tools / equipment / materials
    • Resources
    • JHA’s/Permits as required     
    • Detailed work plan
    • Subcontract requirements
    • Equipment rentals
    • Enter data into SAP
    • Job plans library
    • Schedules
    • History

  • Identifies priority to schedule work and break-ins
  • Work order packages assembled for craft: (Based on field audits)
    • Provide a complete scope of work
    • Identify labor type and durations
    • Provide over all JHA
    • Provide procedures as needed
    • Provide MSDS sheets as necessary
    • Ensure parts in stock
    • Order parts and equipment rentals as needed
    • Set up subcontract release or vendor support as needed
    • Collect design documents as needed
    • Provide history from previous work

  • Work order history input in SAP
    • Complete Time Confirmations and Final Confirmations in SAP
    • Provide a report of planned vs. actual for the work scope
    • Materials used
    • Repairs performed
    • Hours used
    • Update equipment data as required
    • Provide recommendations to the maintenance procedures or scheduling

  •  Provide engineering with any changes to drawings
  • Involved in shut down planning and scheduling

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License and maintain throughout employment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience working in similar job in an industrial/manufacturing setting
  • Technical/mechanical aptitude, proficient mathematical skills
  • Proficient using personal computer; and a variety of software applications including: job specific planning applications, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, databases, and email
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint); Google software applications a plus
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills; decision making, detail oriented and able to review work for thoroughness and accuracy
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; able to interact and professionally engage with all individuals
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal; able to speak, read and write in English
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, work independently, able to effectively prioritize work and complete tasks by deadline; time management
  • Develop trust and maintain confidentiality of materials and information
  • Work effectively in dynamic and diverse team environments; exhibit professional behavior; contribute to creating a welcoming and positive work environment
  • Pass drug screens, physical and safety sensitive background check

Physical Requirements:

  • Wear required personal protection equipment including: clothing, gloves, safety glasses, foot protection, hard hats and respirators if needed
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop; reach forward and grasp
  • Stand and walk safely throughout grounds of industrial facilities for extended periods of time
  • Climb ladders and stairs, reach below knees and above shoulders; kneel and crawl to access work areas
  • Sit periodically and for periods of time; able to enter and exit vehicles without assistance
  • Able to walk across pathways with open enclosures at heights of 10 to 25 feet
  • Balance while walking on wet and slick surfaces, metal grates, narrow platforms, and uneven surfaces
  • Work in loud, cold, hot, wet and dry environments; both indoors and outdoors in inclement weather
  • Lift, push, carry or pull up to 50 lbs.
