Job Summary:

At Veolia the Project Manager plays a critical role in developing and supporting business across many different business lines.  This individual will display exemplary leadership both to their direct reports and when in front of the client as well.  In Fremont we are positioned for growth and this position will provide many opportunities for personal and professional growth.  During a typical day you would be responsible for supervising a team(s) of field employees  providing services to clients that result in the safe disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.  Coordinates subcontractors and field personnel within the job specifications and regulatory guidelines.  Provides guidance and training to all field service employees.  Prepares project estimates, proposals, and assists with contract preparation.  If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to a team and grow your skills then this is the opportunity you have been waiting for.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
•       Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, schedule, budget parameters, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
•         Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting
•         Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed.
•         Responsible for financial success of projects
•         Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
•          Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
•         Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
•         Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
•         Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
•         Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Job Requirements

•         Bachelor's degree, preferable
•         Minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading Labpack services in a variety of professional settings. Comparable experience will be reviewed
•         Candidates with high attention to detail and a drive to succeed are welcomed!
•         Must have detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office

•         Position will require jobsite visits and light travel, occasional overnight and  40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER, Confined Space Entry Certificate, USDOT 49CFR 172.704 Certificate, Commercial Drivers License, Hazardous Materials Endorsement
