Job Description

The Sales coordinator (Intern) plays a role in supporting the sales organization, primarily for the SWO. The core objective being to act as a resource with a view to supporting and coordinating the sales force.

Primary responsabilities
  • Prepare bids and make service proposals;
  • Respond to calls for tender;
  • Look after customers and rapidly refer them to the right representatives;
  • Assist the representatives and managers in monitoring the bids;
  • Prepare and manage internal and external correspondence;
  • Respond to customer requests and communicate with customers on the telephone and by email;
  • Obtain feedback from customers and ensure they are satisfied;
  • Prepare a sales chart and keep the schedule up to date;
  • Control and monitor the representatives' diaries;
  • Set up and monitor sales-related performance indicators;
  • Make appointments with customers;
  • Organize and coordinate sales force meetings;
  • Work in collaboration with the provincial sales department;
  • Establish and maintain an efficient filing system;
  • Act as the team's communications officer;
  • Support the general administration team.


Job Requirements

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • In going College diploma or undergraduate university degree in business administration, marketing or any diploma/experience combination deemed pertinent;
  • Bilingualism (a key advantage);
  • Be disciplined when performing his/her duties;
  • Analytical skills and desire to collaborate with the various stakeholders within the company;
  • Creativity and flexibility;
  • Excellent communication and listening skills;
  • Result-oriented, developer and motivator profile;
  • Leadership, autonomy and adaptability;
  • Very good computer skills, good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel).

Work environment

The job holder spends 90% of his/her time in an office environment or working on projects and/or attending meetings, and 10% of his/her time traveling. Occasional time spent in a factory environment and the field is required.
