Our team is focused driving efficiency and growth initiatives across all our corporate functions and services. We work hand-in-hand with our operations teams to identify and implement opportunities for performance improvements. The key to our success is the combination of strong analytics, a comprehensive approach to performance transformation and regular application of change management principles.

Job Summary:
As a member of our team, you will be working on a wide range of operational and technical issues across municipal and industrial water utility operations, hazardous waste management, district energy and building energy services, business support functions and more. Senior Analysts receive mentoring from all levels of the organization and have many opportunities to learn broader business and consulting skills such as large-scale program management, change management, and performance transformation.

You will be working from one of the Performance team’s main locations in either New York City or Houston.

Responsibilities:
The following are specific responsibilities for the role:
●Conduct efficient and effective analyses to solve complex problems through the use of innovative frameworks.
●Identify major areas of opportunities using tools/techniques such as benchmarks, ride-alongs, interviews and site visits.
●Analyze datasets to identify and quantify performance improvements.
●Structure and develop sections or chapters of client documents with a clear storyline adapted to the audience (e.g., C-level or frontline staff).
●Synthesize information across a variety of sources to drive meaningful insights and make actionable recommendations.
●Deliver prepared oral presentations with confidence, even in challenging environments.
●Establish initiatives and structure work-plans to deliver business impact on high-priority issues in a timely manner.
●Establish performance measures (both financial and operational), monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify and implement performance-based improvements.
●Develop forecasting models of project/program activity to support project/program management and budget control.
●Develop appropriate communication strategies to match to client context and audience / forum, determining what to put on paper and what messages to verbalize.
●Manage client team members efficiently and build strong mutual respect even in challenging situations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
●Bachelor’s degree or higher is required; engineering or business is preferred.
●At least 3 years of work experience at a top-tier management/strategy consulting firm or company focused on manufacturing/operations.
●Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required. Must be comfortable manipulating complex data, evaluating complex issues such as large operational and financial datasets and pragmatic structuring and solving of ambiguous problems.● Experience assisting with the management of transformation programs including progress tracking, schedule development, monitoring and quantifying impact, communications, interdependency and risk management. Also includes developing and deploying the necessary processes and tools
●Able to facilitate group meetings and workshops effectively and within all levels of an organization.
●Demonstrated ability to understand operational processes and drive continuous improvement.
●Able to communicate complex ideas clearly both in written and verbal formats.
●Strong PC skills are essential with high proficiency in MS Office Suite/Google Suite.
●Knowledge of lean management and/or six sigma is beneficial but not required.
●Must be comfortable working in a fast pace, ambiguous, and constantly evolving environment.
●Must possess strong time management skills and have a demonstrated ability to work in both team and independent settings.
●Experience in mid/large scale transformations is a plus.
●Mobility and ability to travel in excess of 50% required.
