Job Description

Under the direction of the Asset Manager, in partnershipwith Conveyance Manager, Capital Projects Coordinator, and Operations Managercoordinates and administrates the CMMS/EAM Software systems (OWAM, InfoNet, legacysystems and others) including interfaces to any other systems. The incumbentwill be the main conduit from Veolia Water Milwaukee to Veolia resources,responsible for interfacing with other departments that impact the CMMS/EAM’ssuch as Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, IT support service etc. This positionis required to keep up to date any ticketing system for support requests eitherinternal or external. This position is responsible for implementing standard VWNAcomputerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) standards.

  • Ensure the Veolia Safety Program is effective
  • Coordinates and administrates the on-site CMMS/EAM Software systems (OWAM, InfoNet, Maximo, legacy systems and others) including interfaces to other systems
  • The incumbent will be required to support existing packaged corporate applications systems interfaces to OWAM in addition to installing, documenting and supporting third party software systems to the business satisfaction in relation to OWAM and other CMMS/EAM’s
  • Responsible for implementing standard Veolia Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS/EAM) standards and workflows
  • This position is responsible for ongoing business improvement and application support of (OWAM) and interfaces to OWAM to effect sound business decisions, work improvement and contract compliance
  • This position is the primary end user trainer both formal and informal for the CMMS/EAM and supported systems
  • Responsible to develop training materials that support the business objectives and work flows
  • Site Administrator for CMMS/EAM – maintains the user database, updates as needed with employee changes, maintaining local business rules, adding new manufactures, burden rates and annual accounting updates, interfaces and formats
  • End user support – troubleshoot reported issues, identifying the root cause of the issue enlisting and coordinating additional support as needed for resolution satisfactory to the end user
  • Required to keep up to date any ticketing system for support requests either internal or external
  • Will be the main conduit from Veolia Water Milwaukee to Veolia corporate resources for CMMS/EAM and interfaces, responsible for interfacing with other departments that impact the CMMS/EAM such as Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, IT/IM support service etc.
  • Develops and runs reports for tracking progress of the systems for management, overseeing accuracy of data and enforcing data standards in reporting
  • Responsible for developing required workflows and documentation for changes to the uses of the supported systems
  • Responsible for the updating as necessary of existing workflows
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information and relationships (whether or not it is considered proprietary) entrusted to them not only by the Company, but also by suppliers, client and others related to our business
  • Create assets in OWAM per the VWNA standard SOP, properly coded and updated in the hierarchy data base (Access)
  • Collaborates with people at all levels varying from business users to company executives and the client.
  • Responsible for OWAM (and other CMMS/EAM’s) System testing for development, interfaces, changes, suggested development, patches and fixes
  • Administrates the Ripplestone reporting software for VWM, including schedules, user functions and End User Support
  • Metrics/KPI report generation/graphing; review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents in the Ripplestone environment
  • Research and develop routine administrative projects, prepare first draft work instruction on routine CMMS/EAM administrative matters, ie data clean up, routine data maintenance and special projects
  • OWAM asset quality control and corrections per MMSD fixed asset SOP’s data entry as required
  • Cross trained as VWMCMMS Planner/Scheduler for succession planning

Job Requirements

HighSchool diploma or GED, Additional specialized courses or Associates Degree inrelated field; or Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

Must demonstrate knowledge and adherence of Veolia safetyrules and policies, both in an office environment and throughout the project.
Professional demeanor, discretion and tact, must bedependable and have the ability to handle confidential or sensitive informationor issues while maintaining confidentiality.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability tohandle competing priorities. Ability towork independently, self-starter.
Above average organization, time management skills &communication skills required to interact at multiple levels internal, external& executive contacts.

Must be able to handle diverse tasks simultaneously and workeffectively with interruptions and consistently meet or exceed production andquality goals. Good at multi-tasking and seeing tasks through to completion.
Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment andwillingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
Liaison between the functional end users and the technicalsupport team for all installed CMMS’s and interfaces
Excellent PC skills with thorough knowledge of PowerPoint,Word, Excel and Access. Ability to develop spreadsheets, graphs and modifyformats in order to complete assignments; ability to recommend improvements.Proficient in Crystal Reports, and other reporting tools. Ability tosuccessfully manage confidential records, both paper and electronic
Experience in implementing and maintaining enterprisebusiness systems.
